I spent years in Silicon Valley—at Cisco and Zoom—leading teams where "efficiency" was everything. But I realized that in our quest for a fast-paced life, we had accepted a standard of food that was anything but efficient for our health.
I watched busy professionals and parents default to expensive takeout or stale, last-minute meals. Not because they didn't want better, but because the "shortcuts" they were using—grocery store spices—were failing them.
Most spices sit in shipping containers for months, crossing oceans and languishing in humid warehouses before they ever reach a store shelf. By the time they get to your kitchen, the essential oils are gone, and the flavor is a shadow of what it should be.
Sivan Spices is a rebellion against the "stale" status quo. Because we are based in Fremont, California, our supply chain is measured in days, not months. We source, small-batch roast, and grind locally. This means when you open a jar of Sivan Spices, you are experiencing the "peak aromatics" that are usually lost in transit across the globe.
